Resident Spotlight

Join us as we celebrate our resident Cher. She has made great strides at Killingsworth. Your donations allow us to support women like Cher reach their goals.

We believe a resident’s acknowledgement of and inclusion of the spiritual component of life will give her clarity and strength regarding her personal and social development.

Your help means everything!

Show your support through financial donations or by joining one of our active committees.

Changing lives one resident at a time.

“This home has provided me a second chance at life, when I felt as though life was over for me. Killingsworth has provided me a space where I could feel safe, nurtured, and loved. I realized that I am also being restored, loved, and healed. God has allowed Killingsworth to offer me and so many other broken women over the years, most importantly it has allowed us to have a place called home.”

— Jackie

“Killingsworth has given me the opportunity to start fresh and learn how to become independent and form healthy relationships with other females to whom we share a common ”problem” BUT have been introduced to the solution. Thank you for second chances and another opportunity to live a happy life.”

— Tiffany

“I am not walking around with a suitcase with all my worldly belongings not sitting around camp fire for warmth. I have food, shelter, and clothes. Got hope, not walking around looking for next high!! Not living dangerously. I now have productive days. Killingsworth has given me courage to move forward for Killingsworth and the entire staff. I am grateful. I have extended family at Killingsworth.”

— Melody Portee

“When darkness once lived in our life, Killingsworth has brought us back into the light. Killingsworth house was built by hands but is made a home by hope and love.”

— Lori, Brooke, Tessica, Madison & Marley
